![]() ![]() There are changes in lending and changes in property inventory. Staying informed, staying connected, working with new methods and more technology – still getting the job done! Our Realtors and full-time staff, including the marketing department and administration, are still working for you from their remote homes! Last week we had stellar attendance at our zoom office meeting with speaker, real estate attorney Jim Lupino, providing us a legal update for navigating transactions today with our unique circumstances. Our focus is safety, so at American Caribbean, Christie’s International Real Estate we are doing our part to help quell the spread of the COVID 19 and have closed our physical offices. We may be working remotely, but we are always available to you. This week with local business partners in our closing agents and lenders, we successfully closed on Florida Keys properties. Hesitant, we bit in - so tasty! Kind of a little bit of a pretzel-flavor wrapped around that wonderful cheese. We are still here for you, using all the latest electronic and digital methods to market, show, sell and close on Florida Keys properties. Expecting the typical fried cheese sticks, we opened the box and saw what looked more like egg rolls. A terrific surprise: the mozzarella sticks. Minestrone was more red than we usually make it, but tasted fine. I had the chicken stuffed with artichoke and spinach and it was sensational! Salads are good with nice fresh tomato. ![]() Meatballs were cooked just right, spaghetti and sauce had that comforting "Church Spaghetti Dinner" flavor - not too sweet, but with just the right zip in the tomato sauce. So happy we did! Once again everything was just what you expect and appreciate at a little pizza/Italian joint. We weren't sure if it was just the ordeal that made it great, so we tried it again this time one night when we wanted some quick take-out to eat by sunset at the hotel. Everyone was friendly and the food totally hit the spot. Tower of Pizza was one of the only places we saw open, so we stopped to eat before heading to our hotel, and it was so refreshing. We accidentally got off the Turnpike and had to fight our way all the way down to the bridge. Our first stop here was after an infuriating drive through Miami on our way to Key Largo. ![]()
